Concerned Women for America is scrutinizing Obama's pick of former Senator Tom Daschle as health secretary.

If confirmed, the former Senate Majority Leader will head Health and Human Services. Concerned Women for America's president Wendy Wright believes the way to measure him as health secretary is to examine pro-life work in the senate.
"He would work the scenes and would vote for amendments that would gut bills like the partial birth abortion ban and he would work for various rules that would keep pro-life legislation from passing," she reports.
Pro-life organizations will have deep concerns as he takes the helm. But a grassroots effort will keep the pro-life theme alive in Washington. "We'll have to keep on him to try to insure that the pro-life laws that have already passed and are being overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services are fully enforced and they are not just overlooked if he is the secretary," adds Wright.
One of Obama's campaign promises was to sign the Freedom of Choice Act which would literally undo three decades of pro-life work on Capitol Hill.
