Very true. History repeats itself every few centuries, and we make the same mistakes we have been making since the beginning of time.
Throughout history people have been seeking to be free from government control and the past 150 years has gone in the opposite direction. More persecution, war, poverty, and injustice has been heaped into the last 150 years than any time prior.
