Have these judges lost there minds ?
(San Francisco, CA) -- A three-judge federal panel has ordered California to release more than 40-thousand of its 150-thousand prisoners to reduce chronic overcrowding. The state is already making plans to release short-term inmates and those who are ill, for budgetary reasons. The judges ordered the Golden State to have a plan ready within 45 days to cut overcrowding. The state intends to appeal the order to free the inmates from 33 California prisons.
