After what happened in Seattle

After what happened in Seattle, one thing Republicans should add to their agenda is an amendment protecting parents' rights. A mom there was irate to learn that her daughter's high school clinic had given her "a pass, put [her] in a taxi, and sent [her] off to have an abortion during school hours--all without her family knowing." The 15-year-old's mom said, "They just told her that if she concealed it from her family, that it would be free of charge." Look for incidents like this one to increase under health "reform." Controlling the people is hard work, as Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.) said, but somebody's gotta do it. And what better "somebody" than the federal government?
